Yay, so I'm back from a long hiatus.

Life's been pretty mundane for the past 2 weeks.

School started so that makes me slightly busier than usual thus, there's actually nothing much for me to blog about.

So I collated everything and did it in 1 post instead. heh.

Met up with Shermaine, Eliora and MJ last Friday at Holland V Sushi Tei.

My first time trying Sushi Tei! Suaku much. haha

Surprisingly the food there are affordable and not too bad.

What's more is they have free Green tea/ Oat green tea! #singaporeanstyle

The 3 of us wanted to go Jungle Tandoor @ Little India since none of us have been there before.
Then MJ came up with a brilliant place (initially cause after we went there, it wasnt sucha good idea) to go - Chinatown.
Actually there's isnt anything much to look/walk/buy this year at Chinatown.
Majority of the shops are repetitive like Mochi, Dried food, New year decoration...
Pretty boring.

So we went to buy and had a mini lo-hei session ourselves

Met up with MJ, Peace and Eliora after work yesterday.

Had dinner at Pepperlunch, walked around, do some shopping and we went over to Eliora's house to visit Fluffy & Velvet, her 2 rabbits! So cute can..

F21 Meetup + DKNY Gold

Met up with my F21 friends yesterday for dinner.

Its been really really long since we last meet up.

Speaking of that, time really flies. It was 2010 when I worked in F21 (Wisma outlet).

It was fun working at F21 becuz all these girls are really really great to hang out/talk to. Missing pretty Shahidah though! :(

So we met up for dinner at Javier's -> shop around and Xiuming bought her Dr. Martens! -> Hongkong Cafe for some drinks/desserts.

Omg!!! My lips been peeling and dry like mad.

I have super sensitive lips.

It can be fine today and the next day it will start cracking and peel out of no where. Zzzz.

Can anybody recommend me what lipbalm is good?

I've tried a lot of brands like The Body Shop, Burt's Bee, Khiel's (good for healing crack at the side of the lips only), Nivea... but none help. :(((

I came home yesterday and was delighted to find this surprise from my momma.

DKNY Women Gold perfume.

She saw this new perfume from DKNY on newspaper and it only start retailing at Sasa yesterday.

So my mom gave $$ to my sis and ask her to buy it for me.

Awww, how sweet can she be!

It comes with free towel too. haha.

Retailing at Sasa, $98 for 100ml.

I think its limited edition and it smell really really nice.

Its a mixture of mandarin, mango, white peach, frangipani, lily of the valley and jasmine tea.

The scent is not heavy. Its light and refreshing!

The bottle is really pretty too.

Omg, im super angry now.
Swensens at Nex is super duper horrible.

This is what happened...

"My boyfriend and I visited Swensens @ Nex on 30th Nov 2011. As Im a Swensens member, we ordered a drink with $1 top-up. The staff took my card upon ordering and return it back to me after awhile. My boyfriend went to make payment for our orders and the staff did not ask him for the membercard and so, instead of charging us the beverage at $1, she charged the usual price to his Nets. My boyfriend did not know that he has to show the membercard to the cashier as the staff did not ask for it and previously another staff already took our card upon ordering. Since the member record was not shown in the bill, whats the point of having the staff to take my membercard when we order?

Since the cashier has charged us more, we insisted on a refund as this is clearly not our fault. The manager told us that they will have to do a double charge and the initial money will be refund to us within 1 week.

We waited for more than 3 weeks and still did not get our refund. I called them up last monday/tuesday and spoke to the manager, name Mel. She say she will get it done by last friday and also assured us that we will get our refund.

Until today, he still did not receive the refund. What kind of service is this? It took your so long to just refund the money? I know 30+ is not a big sum but at least its not worth to double charge us. I call Swensens (Nex) up today and ask for Mel. I called twice and even leave my name and contact number as the staffs told me that they are busy and Mel is attending to customers. Guess what, there's no return call from them at all. Im really frustrated at the kind of service they are providing. Do we really have to wait for 1 month and still yet to get our refund?

I demand a reply and for your to do something about it! I want to receive the refund by this Thursday (5th Jan), 5pm. If there's no reply, this issue will be going up to CASE."

I wrote that super long email to Swensens last night. I called them a million times yesterday and today but could not get hold of the manager, MEL. Is it that hard to refund $30+? knn. Yesterday the staffs said she's busy, this morning they say she will only be there in the afternoon and now they say she's in a meeting. Motherfucker!

Btw, when I called last mon/tues, Mel said that she will transfer and will send me a photo of the atm transfer by last friday. I receive no crap from her. Seriously..

There was a similiar incident at F21, when there's a double charger to my mum's card. The refund was done within a week. Fuck Swensens.

Please please please avoid going to Swensens, they have horrible service. The one at plaza singapura also. My group mates and I did a mystery shop at Swensens (PS outlet). We ended up given them super duper low grades for service to speed to staffs etc. Everything was horrible.

You can go experience it yourself if you dont believe me. Dont say that I never give you any warning. Its a good patience training ground though.

Malacca, Girlies Affair

I mentioned in my previous post that I'm going to Malacca (Malaysia) with my girls.

It's only a 2D1N trip (30-31st Dec) and so I was back in Singapore last night.

I would say that overall the trip is enjoyable but tiring. We walked A LOT, and by that I really mean A LOTTTT plus it was really sunny and hot.

If you guys thought of going Malacca too, I think 2D1N would be enough because there aint alot of things to do over there. And and and, please go on Friday/Saturday because Jonker Street (a night market) is only open during the weekend.

We took hundreds of pictures. I had about 180+ in my Iphone and Carol had like 400+ in her Lumix cam.

On the 2nd day, we went to the Baba Nonya Museum where Mediacorp filmed their famous show "Little Nonya" at. It was RM10 per pax and there will be tour guide showing your around at every 30mins interval.

I guess my previous post states pretty clear that I'm coming back to blog!

I think this has been my 12974634 times blogging. Zzzzz.

I used to blog quite a lot last time, especially during my secondary school times.

But ever since I gone to Poly, I stopped blogging and also lost the passion to blog.

So what makes me suddenly want to blog again?

It goes like this...

I was free, in fact, SUPER FREE at work these few days.

Thus I would read random blogs and I was inspired to blog too especially when I see Nuffnanger going for NAPBAS and all of a sudden, it look so fun to blog!

I will blog as much pictures as I can. (Because I know its boring to read a blog full of words and has miserable amount of pictures)

I realized that the first step to be a blogger is to take a lot of self-portrait shots.
